A week after finding out his sentence in a federal firearm case will be reduced, Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has discovered his fate in another legal issue. According to reports, Gucci pleaded guilty for aggravated assault on Monday.
That case stemmed from a 2013 incident at an Atlanta nightclub. Gucci (born Radric Davis) was accused of striking an army staff sergeant with a bottle, leaving the victim to need stitches.
Gucci originally pleaded not guilty to the charge, but the decision to reverse his plea guarantees a three-year sentence for the assault will be served concurrently with the 39-month sentence for the gun charges.
This comes after Gucci asked for community service in August of 2013, but a judge denied the request.
