Young Thug’s Former Manager, Manny Halley, Files $50 Million Lawsuit

Young Thug’s former manager says his reputation has been destroyed after Young Thug’s financial assistants allegedly slandered him to cover their own asses.

Manny Halley has filed a $50 million defamation suit against David Weise & Associates, the rapper’s financial assistant alleging that the company slandered Halley’s reputation causing him to lose business deals. The incident started in December 2016 when DWA allegedly wrote letters to unidentified people claiming that Halley fraudulently accumulated  $210,473.76 in unauthorized charges. Halley claims the $200,000 was for Young Thug’s private jets for his concert tour. Shortly after, the news went viral on social media, destroying his reputation; the allegations also caused him his management position, working for Young Thug.

Halley, who is the founder of Imani Entertainment Group, has well-to-do clients including Keyshia Cole and Nicki Minaj. He claims that the Weise company mishandled Young Thug’s finances and attempted to pin the blame on him to protect their firm. He alleges that he attempted to get DWA fired for screwing up and that was when the allegations and threats were formed against him. DWA has yet to respond.
